Dr. Susan Tidy M.Chiro, B.Sc (Chiro Sc)Chiropractor Dr Susan Tidy grew up in a very sport oriented family in Naracoorte, South Australia. Her achievements in the sport of hockey lead her to an enthusiastic interest in the Chiropractic profession, as a result of her own chiropractic experience in enabling her to optimise her sporting performance at a national level. Susan went on to graduate from both a Bachelor of Chiropractic Science and a Masters in Chiropractic in 2005 from Macquarie University in Sydney. After her five years of study, Susan immediately travelled over to the city of Glasgow in Scotland where she worked for two years prior to returning to Adelaide. Susan has a very keen interest in paediatric and family Chiropractic care. She has done educational talks to the Women’s and Children’s hospital Midwifery Group and therefore receives many referrals for both pregnant women and newborn babies from many of the midwives at Women’s and Children’s as well as Flinders hospital. Due to her sporting background, Susan also very much enjoys working with athletes and understands the challenges that training at an elite level can place on your body. She regularly works with SANFL football players, surf life savers and South Australian cricketers. As well as providing a premium Chiropractic service, Susan is able to recommend nutritional advice and is a provider of Bioceuticals nutritional supplements to those patients looking for a very well rounded approach to their healthcare.
My chiropractic journey started when I was only 3 weeks old. My mum being the informed parent that she was, saw the benefits of chiropractic in her pregnancy with my older brother and myself. Due to this, I received chiropractic adjustments right through my childhood and I’m sure that’s why I have always maintained a great standard of spinal health and overall well-being. I joined the Spinecare Chiropractic team 4 years ago and have really enjoyed every facet of my job past and present. Now, I’m moving ahead with my own career in health by studying Nutritional Medicine to become a Nutritionist and hopefully one day work in conjunction with chiropractors like Susan! With health being a big passion of mine, I really couldn’t see myself doing anything else. Now, almost all of my family members are under the care of Dr. Tidy. Like me, they are seeing the great benefits of chiropractic I have experienced all these years! Chiropractic will always be a part of my life and I count myself very lucky to be a recipient of chiropractic care, which of course I have my mum to thank for!
