Your Report of Findings

This second vital stage of your pathway to recovery is to assess the findings from your first visit. After your initial consult, our chiropractors will combine the results from your examination with any x-rays or scans taken and identify exactly what we believe is the cause of your problem.The report of findings visit is our chance to thoroughly explain to you, what we have found with your spine, nervous system, mechanical function and overall health. Thus, giving you all the information necessary to have a better understanding of exactly what is happening.Often our report of findings begins with an explanation from our chiropractors on the role and value of our spine and nervous system and how it can affect you. They will talk you through your examination results such as the thermal scan, spinal range of motion and any orthopeadic and neurological tests that were performed.

If x-rays were taken, our chiropractors will also explain in detail what they mean, what your spine looks like compared to a normal x-ray and how that affects your spinal function and health. X-rays can often form a vital part of a thorough chiropractic spinal analysis and identify changes and abnormalities that would otherwise have been missed.

Once your results have been explained and your happy you understand exactly what we have found, the chiropractor will provide you with recommendations for your care at the practice. These may also include advice on things you can do at home to speed up your recovery.

It’s important at the start of any treatment schedule to be clear about our goals and expectations so we have a clear plan as you begin to improve. Spinecare chiropractors take the time to make sure that all of your questions are answered before beginning any treatment.

Your examination and also x-ray findings (if applicable) will be summarised and prepared for you in advance in a chiropractic folder for you to take home. Included in this folder will be your own individual recommendations for your chiropractic care. These will include an outline on how many visits is likely to be required during your initial care for symptomatic relief.

If all your questions and queries are answered and your happy to begin your care at the practice, our chiropractors will be able to give you your first chiropractic adjustment (treatment).
