Chiropractor Prices

Spinecare Chiropractic’s practices are all individually owned and operated and therefore slightly differ in their chiropractic fee structures and your health investment. If you would like to find out exactly what is the chiropractic cost and fee structure for your local Spinecare practice, please give us a call and your friendly front desk staff will be able to help you over the phone.

You may wish to ask them about chiropractic fees for our new patient consultation, x-ray analysis, your report of findings, regular consultations as well as infant, child, student, pensioner or concession discount.

Private Health Insurance – Extra’s Cover – HICAPS

At all Spinecare Chiropractic locations across Adelaide you are able to utilize your private health insurance rebates for chiropractic care. All our practices have access to our HICAPS system, which allows for on the spot rebates!

When you swipe your private health insurance swipe cards through our HICAPS machine it immediately gives us your health rebate. Then you just pay the gap on the day! It’s quick and easy and saves you time and money sending in receipts and waiting for your money back.

HICAPSAs every private health insurance company is different, they all have different rebates and coverage. It’s best to check with your private health insurance company exactly what level of cover you have and what you will get back for your chiropractic visits.

Some Spinecare practices may even be member’s preferred providers and give extra returns per visit depending again on your level of cover and location. Some insurance companies even give bonus claims that you may be able to use during your care.

If you are unsure whether HICAPS covers your private health insurance or if you have chiropractic care included in your extra’s cover, it’s best to call your private health insurance directly and find out exactly what you are entitled too.

DVA – Department of Veteran’s Affairs

All Spinecare Chiropractic locations are registered with DVA and can process DVA claims. DVA has 2 separate categories of veteran health cards, which are gold cards and white cards. Gold cards have full access to chiropractic services. White cards are restricted to chiropractic services that are for specific conditions and need to be approved by DVA before claiming.

If you want to find out more about what benefits and privileges you may have with DVA, it may be best to contact them directly and find out if you are eligible for chiropractic care under DVA.

Medicare – EPC Plans

Under the Allied Health banner for Medicare there are a limited amount of chiropractic services that can be paid for by Medicare under the Medicare EPC plans. To qualify for this scheme it must be approved by your medical doctor or general practitioner and then referred onto one of our Spinecare Chiropractic clinic’s. It is reserved for people with chronic conditions and is limited up to a maximum of 5 chiropractic treatment visits per year at the discrepancy of your medical doctor. This however does not include your initial consultation; any x-ray analysis and special testing that may be required for your individual case.

Workcover

All Spinecare Chiropractic clinics accept Workcover claims. However, not all practices will be able to bill Workcover directly and you may need to claim your reimbursement through Workcover yourself.

Motor Vehicle and Accident Claims

All Spinecare Chiropractic clinics accept motor vehicle and accident claims. However, not all practices will be able to bill different insurance companies directly and you may need to claim your reimbursement through your insurance company yourself.
